Used for centuries by indigenous people to build community\, resolve conflict and promote respectful dialogue among people with differing points of view\, circles are now being used in business\, human services\, the legal system and education.\n\nHere at the Center\, we have used Circles during the past six years in over a hundred different settings on a wide variety of topics. We've used Circles for teams in conflict\; for community-wide forums on topics such as sex trafficking\, livable communities\, and the Jewish-Palestinian issue. We've trained hundreds of youth to be Circle facilitators so they can take leadership positions in their communities.\n\nCircles build community\, resolve conflict\, and increase understanding of divergent views by creating a safe\, comfortable space for all participants.\n\nIn our Dialogue Facilitator Training\, you will learn the basics of being a Circle facilitator and how a Circle works. You'll experience and get a chance to co-facilitate a Circle with feedback provided by our mentor Circle facilitators. Plus\, you receive a sample agenda and scripts to use for your own Circles.
