DESCRIPTION:Breakfast is coming at you a bit differently this month -- we will be hosted by Cobalt Sponsor\, Tucson Electric Power. And breakfast is FREE thanks to TEP's generosity. Registration will be limited to Chamber members only through May 6\, after which time it will be open to non-members as well. Remember that registration is still required. \n\n\n\nWe are very pleased that we will be joined by Lorie Sandaine\, Disability & Inclusion Activist/Speaker\, who will inspire and inform us on ways to create truly inclusive work environments. \n\n\n\nAbout Lorie Sandaine\n\nLorie Sandaine is a powerhouse advocate dedicated to ensuring that everyone\, especially those with intellectual and developmental disabilities\, finds meaningful employment. She's a passionate voice for diversity and inclusion\, proactively crafting creative solutions and educational initiatives that enrich our workplaces.\n\n\n\nWith a keen focus on empowering women and people of color with significant disabilities\, Lorie champions a person-centered approach that highlights individual strengths and capabilities. She's committed to transforming our work environments into spaces that truly represent the diversity of the world around us.\n\n\n\nLorie is the Director of Employment Services at The Opportunity Tree in Phoenix\, a Systems Change Liaison at the University of Arizona's University Center for Excellence in Disabilities\, and the Board President of the Arizona APSE chapter. Her work is focused on enhancing employment opportunities across Arizona. As a woman of color in leadership\, Lorie brings a unique and invaluable perspective to her roles. Whether speaking at local events or on national stages\, her aim is clear: to foster understanding and build strong partnerships that advocate for a more inclusive and equitable society.
