Chris Pureka is an internationally acclaimed queer, non-binary, singer-songwriter based in Portland, OR. Known for their heart-on-the-sleeve lyrics, proficient guitar playing and their storytelling/folk/Americana style, they have been compared to artists like Patty Griffin, Brandi Carlile, and Gillian Welch. Over the course of their 20 year career they have earned accolades from such distinguished taste-making outlets as The New York Times and Billboard. Chris has also shared the stage with esteemed acts including The Lumineers, The Cowboy Junkies, Gregory Alan Isakov, Andrea Gibson, Damien Jurado, and Ani DiFranco.
