Rainbow Build with Habitat for Humanity

The Rainbow Build is an annual opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community in Tucson to come out together on a build day in order to help support Habitat's project of building affordable housing for all persons in Tucson and around the world. The connections between the LGBTQ+ community and the need for affordable housing are manifold. Trans, queer, and gay youth face housing discrimination as well as financial and housing instability at much higher rates than their cishet peers.

Having multiple generations and demographics of the LGBTQ+ community all together at the build site can help raise our awareness and attention to the continued need for affordable housing in Tucson, as well as build community bonds and strengthen our sense of solidarity. Come out to build for a day of fun, advocacy, and community building!!
