How open is your business? You’ll find out at July’s breakfast meeting. Erin Russ is currently the Director of Programs for Tucson’s Southern Arizona Gender Alliance. She has over thirty years as a military, corporate and community trainer/educator including the development of two military and four private sector training programs that were cited as best practices models. She has trained Human Resources and senior management staff on integrating transgender personnel. She has spoken combined audiences totaling over 10,000 people at workshops, conferences, employers, churches and community fora.

Erin served as an Army Infantry officer for 12 years, holding positions ranging from Infantry platoon leader to key staff positions at the Division and Theater of Operations level. Since leaving the military Erin has been active as a transgender community advocate, community educator and and corporate trainer. She was instrumental in changing attitudes and policies in the Veterans Administration where she has provided training to the Southern Arizona Veterans Administration Health Care System (SAVAHCS) primary care medical teams and to Veterans Administration Vocational Rehabilitation teams across Arizona.
Erin is currently collaborating on a curriculum to train and certify homeless shelters as transgender supportive.
Trish Kordas is currently the Vice President of Human Resources & Development for Tucson Federal Credit Union. She is engaged with the local Society for Human Resource Management chapter where she has served in the President role (2015) and currently serves as Director of the Community Outreach committee. She currently holds the 1st Vice President position on the Board of Directors for Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation. She possesses almost 20 years of progressive human resource and development experience. Trish is a Tucson native where she has lived with her husband since 2001, Morgan, and their new pride and joy, Dax, born in April 2016.Images
