The Colby Olsen Foundation is really excited to announce our True Colors Writing + Art Workshop. This workshop was created to express yourself through art, poetry, and countless exercises that encourages your personal growth and challenges to inspire others.
Join Lee Balan every Sunday, starting January 13th , from 12-2 at Gallery 2SUN, where he will be conducting many activities focusing on writing, self esteem and art.

We are Better Together
Lee Balan has always been involved with art and writing. Balan woks in three different mediums: Digital Montage (Photoshop), Assemblage, and Acrylic painting. Lee had became the administrative director for ONE in Long Beach, Ca where he established a program for the arts as well as being the first art-curator for the center in Palm Springs. Lee became a mental health professional and worked as a manager for a “Clubhouse” program for adults with mental illness. He helped organize and facilitate workshops in art and writing to help clients manage symptoms. Lee has a Bachelors degree in Art and a Graduate Certificate as a Counselor-Aide. His art has been exhibited in several galleries in California, where he lived for 40 years. Having performed at Intersection in San Francisco and Beyond Baroque in Venice, Ca. Lee published his first novel, Alien Journal, in 2009Date and Time
